Hatherley and Sam : Wedding

As I was laying in the sand, on the beach, I heard my phone chirp. I picked it up and found an email from a desperate Hatherley. She was getting married in a week, and by no fault of her own, had no photographer. We met at my favorite cafe when I got home and I knew right then and there her wedding was going to be my kind of wedding. She and Sam knew this was their day. Their ceremony was short, sweet and intimate, they were surrounded by family and close friends. Their reception was filled with friends, family and laughter.

Sam, well…funny that I ended up being your wedding photographer! Small world!   Hatherley, I can’t wait to shoot your trash the dress session! Thank you guys for having me be a part of your day!  Here is your preview, I had a hard time choosing what to post!  …xo

Some details.  I love how she used fresh flowers and candle light to decorate. Her bouquet was gorgeous.

Normally I wouldn’t consider the buffet line blog worthy, but Hatherley made all of the food herself, the day before the wedding!  And it was one of the only weddings I have been to where guests were raving about the food!

Hatherley and Sam decided to forgo the traditional wedding cake and have Tiramisu…

Loved their first dance!  I don’t think they noticed anyone else in the world in those few minutes…
